Here's the mount I came up w/. If you're the machinist type or know someone who is, it's fairly simple. I'll post some detail pics later.

I used to have a handle bar mount but it was on my Atv. One problem I found with handle bar mounts is the Gps is exposed to the temps more. I jsut bought a dash mount for my Grand Touring. It's actually a marine mount but works for me. I figure this will keep the Gps a little warmer. I use a 12v power supply and turn my back lighting on to stay on. It adds a bit of heat.

MXZ 800 that is really cool helmet cam. Sorry to see you rolled the sled and hope your ok. Have you had any problems with cold temps and your Gps?

Ive had it out in temps below -20 c. Having it mounted on riser, it gets some heat from engine.Its also below windshied.I also have back light on high to keep screen warmer.
