I have the mapsource software but every time I click on one of the downloads on this site a widow open for real player saying it cannot find the file. How do I download these files to my mapsource program?

Are you downloading the .zip file? If this is what you mean then you need a program to uncompress the file. Try right clicking on the link and select 'save target as' and save it to desktop. Now right click on the file that was saved to the desktop and move down the menu to the folder 'send to' and select 'Compressed (zipped) Folder'. This should unzip the file to the desktop and it will have the .gdb file extention that Mapsource is looking for. Hope this helps.
