Just wondering if anyone ever tried a 55/100 w bulb I want to replace the 55/60w one. The sled is a 1990 650 just wondering if the electrical system can handle it...Anyone one know what the electrical system is rated for on these older sleds...

A friend of mine put one in 1989 650, he loves it
no problems.
I have ordered one for mine so I can actually see
at night.

I run 2 55/100 xenon bulbs in my 02 xc800.  Very bright on high beam, although still not overpowering on low.   I am very happy.  Just remember to switch to low beam when you see oncoming traffic.  check out Bluhm Enterprises
