so anyways went for i ride on my iq on saterday only to have it come home in the truck. broke the cylinder studs, it didnt like to run on antifreeze very well( wonder why lol) than just the other night ( since my machine is on the bench) I took my brothers pro x up the bay and went to do some hill climbing at this cool his and i spun up a rock and put it right through the front heat exchanger only to be towed home. now i have to fix to sleds in less than a week. sometimes i wonder why I even snowmobile, but when I clamp the throttle I remeber why I love it so much. the ride home sucked both days but they were still better than work. I hope nobody has the luck I have. see you on the trails!!

i'd quit doing that.
After reading that all I could think of was........." bad things come in 3's " beware ! and as Paul said.. stop doing that. lol

All kidding aside, Bummer ! hope things get fixed soon and you can get some more riding in. Uneventful of course.

Just think of it this way....you gained a lot of experience, and two more stories to tell. Back in the 80's, my dad's friend used to get a pine tree broken in half painted on the side of his El Tigre every time he hit a tree.....maybe you could get a wrench painted on the side of yours every time you break something!! :p

well i guess i'm no.3. thought i'd see if i could break my old speed record today after doing alot of mods on my sled over the summer.this was the first day conditions were good to try it. well i did break it from 120mph to 130mph,but track must of been a little loose and floated over drivers and pick got my front exchanger.light came on and engine didn't sound right so i stopped. saw anti freeze on the ground.got towed to nearest road. went home got the trailer and loaded it up. pulls ok and started ok. will check damage tomorrow, man i hope it didn;t hurt the motor it's running sweet.heat exchanger can be welded up.so everybody is safe now.I GOT NO. 3 LOL
Well all of this just stinks, and I believe we started this whole thing off.. :bash:
