bought this sled, it had the brand "hot grips" on it. turn them on low, the head light is dim but not bad ! turn them on high light is reaaal dim looked at wire connections and it looks nicely done wrapped up and stuff but is there a oneway hook up on these or does matter ? its a 2000 mach z

I ran into the same problem when I installed a set on my MX6. After looking in my SD shop manual, they mentioned to be careful not to wire them up in parallel as this draws too much current from the system. I beleive they should be in series. As this happened a few years ago I am not 100% certain about the exact series/parallel requirement but I do know that one of them is taboo for this very reason (pretty they should not be parallel). The lights will dim a bit when the handwarmers come on, maybe nothings wrong.

What the machine Idle at and exactly how much does it dim..

IDLE IS RIGHT ON DOES NOT CHANGE AT ALL WHEN ON IT'S REAL DIM I'M TALKING MOPED DIM EVEN WHEN I'M FLYING ACROSS A LAKE.
