Wifes sled is a 99 FZ 500.We are going to run it 1 more season probably(unless I get a deal on a REV)I believe in preventitive maintainance and was wondering if I should change them out in the off season or will they last?
You've got at least two more seasons left. Everyone has a different opinion and mine is change them every 4-5 years. Keep checking to see if they are rock hard or still pliable.
Sounds good zert. This sled was built in 98 so technically it will be 4 years old this summer according to production date. The fuel lines on my old Safari went bad after about 8 years.Sucks to have any type of breakdowns due to lack of maintainance.I see it all the time at my auto shop.
you should be able to squeeze a few more years out of the fuel lines, if you are concerned then ckeck them for stiffness, if they get stiff change them.
