Just a question ,probably something I did wrong but I uploaded an avatar last week, succesfully I thought but it is still not under my name just a box with an X in it.
Did I do something wrong or miss a step?

It is immediately uploaded to the server. But you need to go to your FORUM control panel > personal info > avatar options   and place the URL that you were given when you uploaded it into the URL box.

Once you do that, it will appear instantly...

Well, ok, I see that you do indeed have a URL entered for your avatar. But in checking it, it appears to be missing a slash.

You have:
http://www.snowmobileworld.comforums/uploa...tar/showart.gif

But it should be:

http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/uplo...tar/showart.gif

Give that a try; that should fix it.

THANK YOU Corey for the quick response to my Question.
As you can see that fixed my little problem. I figured I must have left out some little thing.
That is why this is the BEST snowmobile site on the web and I am proud to be a part of it!
