hello!
I have a Edge 800 -03 that the idle "loads up" after realesing gas.I starts to run up sometimes to 4000 rpm. After a few seconds the idle comes down to 1500 rpm.
The settings at the carb is 440 main jet and 35 at low speed. The engines is setup by M-performance in mora sweden by mulle.
The problems dos not become after the tuning.
I have heard and read that change the pilot air jet to bigger (from 0.9 to 1.0 ) is the thing to do but i have not that needles??
its only hole there.
I look in the polaris service manual (PN9918052) and thats correct.Only 800XCR (engine nr ec79pl015) have that.
I wonder what to doo about this problem.I have try to turn fuel screw and air skruv but the problems stiil there.I think its become lean but im not shore. The problem is the same with pilot jet 40 (original)
I hope you can reed this.

the air jet does not require a needle, it is in the bell of the carb.
do you have an air screw and a fuel screw, or just a fuel screw(the brass t-handled adjuster on the side of the carb)? how many turns out are these set at, from lightly screwing them in all the way?
how does it run on the trail?
