Well im writing a story in my Lit. class, and im looking for a good area to write about. It needs to be a large mountainous area, with little to no cities around it, that gets covered heavily in snow during the christmas time. Its gotta be kinda large in size, and snowmobile accessible

Thanks ahead of time guys

How about Sicamose (sp) BC or Utah near our dear friend Docrmk :D
any actual locations in specific, somewhere thats a fairly big mountain, that gets blizzards alot, not near any towns
Leadville, Co. PLENTY of snow, mining town, no resorts nearby, rent a room cheap. "Season" lasts until June 1st. Tin Cup and St. Elmo would work too..Steamboat Springs if you have a few bucks to spend..Nearby to Rabbit Ears Pass, the Snowmobiling capitol of Colorado..
