I have a question for anyone who has put K&N's on a dpm sled. What did you do with your air temp sensor? I'm not sure if they are all like this but on mine the sensor is inside the air box. I was thinking of doing this because I have heard of a big improvement in hp even though they are drawing the hotter air in. But I'm not for sure so don't give me the air box lecture. Thanks.

usually K&N's work well, but i have heard of a lot of people messing up their engines after putting them on(friend 2001 Summit 800 is one of em)         so i would just leave the box on and gut it.
