Large Avatars Broken

Is anybody there? It's still broken... I have tried two different files, both are still being rescaled...here is what it should look like in the attachment. Meanwhile "increased avatar size" is still an advertised feature:

My image is 144x166 which is supposed to be allowed. There is a big deal about it on the membership page but meanwhile it does not work, and after three days I get no response at all? Really? I was asked very promptly not to complain about site problems in the general forum concerning an earlier issue...so I post here and get ignored? So is this like put your complaints in the round file? I hope if anyone is reading this you understand that this is a legitimate concern, I'm not trying to give you a hard time, just illustrate clearly my user experience from my end. Thanks in advance.

I tried it and that did not work unless there is some other way that I'm not aware of besides selecting "do not use an avatar" and clicking save and then selecting a new avatar and clicking save.

I can tell you that when the new software was first installed there was no scaler for the avatars. That is, if your avatar was too big it was rejected. Now it allows any size and cuts it down to 96x96. I attached one of the avatars I tried in my first post, here I will attach all the avatars I've tried. They are all 144x168 or less and well under 32k.
