I'm not real happy with the width of the running boards on my MXZ.

The Rox treads seem to be over priced, especially when you have to pay extra to get the board extenders.

I saw a product called "Launch Pads" in a magezine.

They attach to the running board near the rear to widen it.

They look like they would help with footing when you tuck your feet back.

Anybody have any experience with these.

Thanks Tom

rox treads are pricey but they doo stiffen the board as well.they do extend out over the stock board a lil',not sure how much 1 inch or under on each board, without the extenders that go even farther out.I was lucky and found a used set,but i would pay the price if I had too.worth it IMHO.I never tried the launch pads.

I have never used the Launch Pads, but I have a set of Rox Tracks on my MXZx 440. They are awesome, but they are not cheap...

They stiffen the running boards unbelievably.

the launch pads will not help with stiffening the tunnel like the rox,i sure wish i could buy the rox....the launch pads will only give better footing

Panteraone,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm looking more for footing than stiffening, maybe these are just the ticket.

I agree, the ROX would be best, however I don't think the pricing is fair, so I'll use something else.

I would appreciate a picture, if it is not too much bother.

Thanks again.

Thanks Panteraone,

A picture or two is worth a thousand words.

I think they just might do the trick...

Thanks again.
