Mach Z 800 Now Its A Wiseco 889 Engine Questions?

ok i just got 3 jugs sleeved to the 889 bore wiseco big bore kit i cut the heads to there specs but i need to know whsta good squish to be at to be safe trail riding but still have a lot of pep.2nd qusetion as far as the rave valves how much do i cut off who can do it i know they will hit the piston since its a big bore now.i used a sport port home porting kit on it and im gonna run the thick base gasket doo offers to rais the port timing any other cheap ideas i can do myself to save money but gain some performance???

You have to cut the raves to fit, why do you want to use a thicker base gasket? I f you ported the clyinders you should have rasied the exhaust port. no need to raise it anymore

no the port sport kits dont raise the port timing it just smooths and widens the ports its not real radical
