I am putting together a clutch kit for my 1994 indy trail deluxe 488 f/c, and have come up with leaving the primary alone and putting a 38/34 progressive helix in and have been recomended a 40/66 spring, I was just wondering what difference it would make to put in a 46/71 spring since one of these is easier to come by and available locally. thanks for any thoughts

no , not yet at least , i had a kit list set up by SLP and they said that I should just leave the primary alone, although I do plan on getting a new stock spring just to freshenup.
