I am looking to get a food heater to go on a snowmobile and I've found 3 choices, Hot dogger, Muffpot and Hot pot. I haven't seen any of them in person. Does anyone have any experience to compare the different products. Thanks

I've worn out a couple of Hot Doggers. They work great! I don't have any experience with the others you have mentioned though. We have found that wrapping up burritos or Hot Pocket type foods work the best. Also, use the "oven bags" (like you would cook a turkey with) instead of aluminum foil. The aluminum foil leaves rub marks on the food from the vibration. You can get the oven bags smaller than turkey size (I think they refer to them as "regular" size) which work very well.

You will have to play around with placement to find the right heat for your riding style. I have mine mounted pretty close to my Y pipe for clearance. Mounting right to the muffler is common, but gets too hot for me.

i have a hotpot got it at rsiracing.com. i ended up putting it on my slp can works great even toasted the buns on the 2 mcdonalds double cheeseburgers that fit in it.
this was the 3rd position i put it in on my xc500sp. whats funny is my riding buddies laughed at first about the mcdonalds burgers but when they seen them and tasted a warm cheap trail snack you know who was laughing last

Thanks for the info, the Muffpot looks like it may be the best but it's hard to tell without seeing them in person.
