I would say he has a very tightly packed swarm of pissed off BEE's and that thing just itching to sting someone.
With that pitch im sure it would get annoying after a while , but that thing sure sounds like its tightly wrapped inside.
I think it's missing the muffler and he 's running it open pipe with a straight pipe out the bottom . The smaller the size of the outlet the higher the pitch.
