What's a good clutch setup for 94 700 ZR and what gears are best to use for top end?
I have an new 8" Primary "overdrive" clutch coming on friday and would like to get this setup so I can beat my buddy's 94 MachZ.
Can anybody help? Thanks
Run down to your cat dealer and buy a ZR 800... thats the clutch setup I would use.... LOL I would try a pipe, intake and clutch setup.... that will help. As far as the gearing goes I am sure someone else can help you out on that
I used stock gearing on mine with a D&D clutch kit. The sled really moved. I don't remember the helix but the kit basically had the stock springs. yellow/green driven, yellow drive, 54gram AC weights. It also had a shim to go behind the spider I believe it was a .030 in shim. If i had kept the sled i was going to get the D&D pipes/silencer, have them trail port it, and clutch it for the added power. Also replace the stock reeds with ones from Boysen. I think that sled runs best with the stock gears in it.
