Didnt know you had to break a belt in, maybe that explains why I burned one in less than 500 miles on my trip to Wisconsin. I just thought it was a defect in the belt.

Vary the speed. Dont go at top speed, and avoid hard acelrating. Keep it like this for about 20km. And, always run easy for the first 5 min.

If your belt wears and isn't sitting seated at the top of the clutches at speed then you need to shim the clutch. Artleast i had to on our 600 vmax. Performance stayed the same as we shimmed. We did pound the #### out of it, so we had high wear.
