Yea, it's that time of year.

Getting out of the "funk" and into the "groove."

Started studding my sled this weekend.

Got 3/4 done but had to head out.

Here's some pics.

The first one reminds me of the 70's movie, Jaws. LOL

The second one shows what a 38" suspension travel sled would look like.

No but I do have a template that I usually use to come up with my own pattern.
I think I can come up with way more scratch lines.
Being that my sled still has a bumper to bumper warranty for a year, I thought I would stick with the 108 marks that Camoplast has molded on their track to stud it and still have it not void the Doo warranty. If I find that it doesn't provide enough "gription" I'll add the dual stud plates that Woody's sells for next year. I'l have to work out a pattern using the existing stud locations. My track on my Legend last year was too aggressive and cut down on the ability to play. It was a 121" X 1.25" Connected Cone with 144 Woody's 1.325" Gold Diggers. Great hook up and launch but it just wasn't as much fun to play with. That's all I'll say on that. LOL

Mark, wish I could leave it like that. It sure does look aggressive. lol
Not up on musicians, now or back whenever. I'm more familiar with the term back in the 70's and 80's. You know, Huggy Bear from Starsky & Hutch days.
Just thought that phrase seemed appropriate for the feeling that washes over us during the long hot summers.

Thanks Allisson, Just stating the facts Ma'am. Nothing but the facts.

Shine on everyone.
Take pride in your ride!
Winter is just 95 short days away.
