The FCMQ website states the following:

Permit placement

The permit is valid only when permanently affixed on the snowmobile. General Rules of the FCMQ (article 11) specify that the permit must be affixed on the left side of the cab.[/b]
Would the LH side of the windshield be allowable? We'll be riding in Quebec for 2 days from Notre Dame du Nord to La Reine.

On our sleds it'll be pretty hard to find a glossy surface for the permit w/o covering the existing graphics or Ontario registration #s or validation tag. The side panels are open of graphics, but are a pebbly surface not the best for applying decals especially when it's cold.

Rev we ride alot in PQ and our permits are placed anywhere there is room on the left side. We all have revs like yours. Some have them on the windshield others have them on the flap you lift to see your exhaust. In PQ as long as its there somewhere they don't care. As a side note make sure you have mirrors (not the ones on your glove). Last year after 2 weeks in the Gaspe we were only checked once.
The trail wardens and club members are the nicest and most helpful you will find anywhere. Good sledding this year. May run into you in Paudash or Old Hastings.

I found out about the mirror deal looking for permit placement on another site.

Be on the lookout for 2 black & yellow MXZs (500SS & a 600SDI) & a black GSX 500SS. That'll be us. We retired the ZXs.
