Posting this here because I'm hoping someone has done a top end rebuild on a Phazer, and checked compression immediately after the rebuild.
So.... Anyone know what the compression on a 488 fan should be immediately after a top end rebuild? But before the engine has run and the rings have had a chance to seat themselves?

Just for information sake, I spoke to the Yamaha dealer here today, and he told me that they won't touch a Phazer engine if the compression is between 85 and 120. And that mine being 95 each side, is right within range.
