Does anyone know if a semi-bad scored piston and cylinder sleeve would cause an engine to sputter and flood under load? Like pinning the throttle of the line or anywhere after 3/4 throttle? The engine will cruise along fine at low rpm's. Thanks for readin!

4 weeks ago i went through that same scenario with a big bore twin. i dont think its a common occurance and i did correspond with a few knowledgeable folks after i ordered the parts but before i fixed it and everybody seem to think i was on the wrong track. the way you should look at it is if the pistons look rough they should be replaced so dooit and take it from there.
