Hey guys, been getting some good information off this site. But now am at a standstill I recently found out my engine had been swapped with the original one I have the serial number and production number too. I called my local polaris dealership but couldn't find any information on it. Maybe I can get some help here.

Thought maybe someone could tell me the year of the engine seeing as it most likely isn't a 93. Which is what the body type is.

I will start it and it will idle at about 1200 then if I give it a Rev it will stay tacked at 2500 unless I shut it off and restart it then it will go back to 1200 rpm but as soon as I give it gas it jumps up again. Any ideas?

check for vacum leaks at carb boots and crank seal , spray with carb cleaner , be careful of fire , if nothing there is found pilots plugged in carbs air fuel adjustments, cable to carbs sticking , adjusted wrong , carb sync all possible, when its at 2500 try putting choke on half way ,if it comes down , its way to lean
