Polaris m10 suspension

Does anyone have a 2002 Polaris 700 Classic, or a Polaris 700 XCSP with the M10 suspension. I would like to know your thoughts on the performance of the M10 compared to the Edge suspension. Does it give a good trail ride? Is it easy to adjust? Does it affect the gas mileage? (my son has 700 XCSP with Edge Suspension and gets about 17 miles per gallon) Thanks for your help.
