Fully wound out on the lake I have seen 115 to 120+ on the speedo but since most speedos are off I would quess about 110 + actual but mind you this is on a cold day little wind and a long stretch at Lake of the woods Northwest Angle Snake lake trail. This sled also had a 1 1/4 track with 96 studs installed mild clutching but it was not pulling the right rpm as it was below 7700 rpm and I forgot to bring the lake running weights with so it could have been better with a little less weight in the clutch.
snorat i have been thinking about what you said about the top hp of my xc 700 being 7900 and as i think about it i really think i had more power at 7900 than i do at 8000 or 8100 i remember head in the wind and the wind was 20 or maybe a little more i was doing a little over 115 head in it i think there is more power at 7900 you know your stuff
