Doing a little maintenance on my primary and noticed the spring was broke. The sled is an '85 Formula Plus. Does anyone know what colour or weight the spring should be? Tried Royal but they said it was discontinued.

Check out hlsm.com

They have online microfiches of snowmobiles there. I quickly checked the Skidoo ones, however they only date back to 1987. I don't know how different, if at all, there would be between those year sleds, but according to the microfiches, you would need a yellow-blue spring.

Check it out.

Did some searching and could only find a sprinf that is longer by about an inch of the original. Is this going to hurt anything if I use it. Any adjustments to be made if I use it.

Cheers
