I read in the tech articles (Rave valve maintenance) that there is a spring you can get from the Ski-doo dealer that will replace the tie wrap.
I have a 1993 670.
Anyone know the part number for this better spring?

I am not sure if they are the same, but for my FIII 700 the # is 420239043 . If you want to look it up for sure go to ronnies.com they have all ski-doo's on micro-fishe

Do you guys think its possable that my dealer changed to the spring before I took delivery.  Because i have bought 5 skidoos brand new all with rave and all of them had springs around where i think the strap should be.

Some time between 1995 and 1997 Rotax switched from the tie wraps to the springs - my buddy's 95 Formula SS had the ties (pain in the butt to install + have to order new ones all the time).  My old 97 MachZ had the springs.  You should be able to switch over to springs no problem...his have stayed put for 2 years since we changed them over.

My '98 Summit X had ties. They are now held on with the largest o-ring in my Fox shock kit.  Works great.
