Anybody know if there's a recommended thickness for the reed spacers for the 800 twins? I've read and seen everything from 3/16" to 1/4" to 5/16".

Would there be any performance difference between say a 3/16 and 5/16 spacer?

1/4" is typical for the 700/800. This is enough to pull the reedstops back away from the transfers (and make the airbox a bear to install) on my sled. I know as many tuners that say they do nothing as say they help?

i'm not for sure how thick they are , thier around 1/4 to 3/16 " , what ever every one is selling , i think thier all about the same, and they don't add any h.p. but they will make a noticable dif on thorottle response and eliminate low stumble
