Has anyone tried taller gearing on a renegade, I heard that 24/43 gearing works good with stock clutching. Ive been running well against other 800 twins, in 660 feet. I will jump them out of the hole about 5 lengths but in mid range to top end they will start catching me and it is allway's close at the line. I would like a little more mid range and top end to hold them off! Any opinions!

Your gonna lose on top end cause of the long track and relatively big lugs.  Shorter tracks with a lower profile will get you in the end, but you will ALWAYS get the hole shot

Hey kennypope, I think you should try gearing your sled down to 19/44 and clicking your TRA up to 6 so that I can at least have a chance of catching you in a quarter mile (LOL).
Just my opinion !
