I have a 1997 Skidoo MXZ 583 Rave. I just had to replace the head due to the spark plug hole getting cross threaded. I took off the old one and put on the new one i was just wondering if there was a certian amount of tork needed for the bolts on the head. Also if i needed to have a certain tork for the heat sensor on the head also. If anyone knows for the antifreezeif i need 60/40 or 50/50 or what dose anyone recomend? This is my first year with a older sled Im used to newer ones but where i live we have soe rough trails and i use my newer sleds up north on more open trails and i have no idea about this sled. I also have a 1998 skidoo formula 500.

Grease the underside of the head bolts and torque them to 29nm (21 pound feet). Make sure the shorter bolts go over the RAVE s.
