I have a '91 Indy500 with about 7K miles that's ready for some new skis. I'd really like to get some stock Polaris plastic skis from a current model sled. Does anyone know if any of the current plastic skis are compatable with the older Indys? Also, if anyone has used aftermarket skis on an older Indy, how did they perform? Thanks!

I put USI 201 Tunnellight skis on my 97 sks. They are much better then the stock steel ones, good looks, less darting and less weight. I don't think USI makes that ski any more I picked them up at hay days last year for 220 including 8" carbids. The polaris plastic ones should be great for you. I'm not sure if they will fit they may have changed the spindle width, not sure. Ebay or the want ads on this might have some.

Composite skis of off any Polaris will fit your 500. I actually just sold my skis from my Pro X to my brother for his 500. They fit excellent and even make the sled look 10 years newer. This is a must do mod.
