SC-4 was on X-Package models in 05 I thought. I thought the 05s were the only ones complaining about slider wear. I dont remember reading anything about the 06's complaining about it. BUT I could be wrong. I dont know of any changes from 06 to 07 either, not saying that there wasnt.
Sc-4 Question
When the SC-4 arrived, there were a lot of complaints about "premature" slider wear. Was this because guys were riding in low snow conditions or something that happened all thru the '06 season?
Were any changes made in '07 to the skid?

I don't remember the years but the changes made to deal with the premature slider wear was to go to a slightly taller idler wheel.

my 06 hyfax wear has been excessive. i am going to add extra wheels.

We've got two 06's, no problems with the sliders.
