My guess would be the III has longer shocks seeing as it has 13 some odd inces of travel and the II only had 10.

Anyone know if the VR shocks are rebuildable? I think I got stroked on the SC10-III I bought. They don't say VR on them anywhere, nor on the rails, and are a sealed steel shock.

Sounds like I'm going to have to phone and have a "chat" with the place I bought it. I assume the VRs look like an HPG? Can't find a pic anywhere.

They trail has gas shocks also, but they are non-rebuildable motion control shocks.

Belleville Mxz sounds like you are going to have to change those shocks
Maybe you can trade with someone who thinks there mxz rides too stiff. I rode a 02 legend last year and let me tell you it is not for me. It was so soft it was pure mush. Some people might like that, but not me.

I contacted the place I bought it from, and I'll see what they come up with. I told them I want what I paid for, so we'll see what happens.
