Single Slider Versus Dual Sliders

My 2007 Z570 LX has the single slider ski and has a tendency to dart back and forth through the trails. I notices an ad for a dual slider and was wondering what the boards input is on this new style ski.

1) Does it track better?
2) Does it help in the constant darting on trails?
3) What would the life expectancy of the dual be versus the single?

Thanks

I believe you mean runner, sliders support your track.
My Sabercat came with dual runners and tracks very nice and doesn't dart. I improved it even more by adding 6" Woody's dual carbides which are a lot better than Cat's 4" stock. Life expectancy would depend on what you run on..........lots of road and gravel kill carbides.
Thanks and I appreciate correcting me on what the items are called.

Your first check for darting problems is to properly align the skis. First align to track and then set a little toe out. Use a bungy cord between the ski tips to take the slop out before aligning.
