I have a 1995 POlaris Indy 500.
I'm doing a little 'restoration' on the ski/front suspension.

DUring this I'm replacing the rubber ski bumpers, as the old ones were toast.
I've done this before, but am really have a hard time getting the bolt back through the holes as the new bumpers
are a bit thicker (mostly due to wear of the old ones).

But I'm also wondering if I have the new rubbers on right. I have the high part in the front (which is how the old ones came off. Is this right?
I've read various comments on the web in both directions. But as near as I can tell from the parts diagram on the polaris site, this is the correct orientation.

Any info is appreciated. Thx in advance

Oh, and FWIW... I have a 98 Indy 500 classic, that is also oriented with the high side forward.
BUT..... that year has the spindle oriented the opposite way (grease zerk is in the back side, under the trailing arm),
where the 95 the zerk is in the front

thx again
