I was Going to stud my track sometime in these next couple of weeks and ive never studded a track before what i was wondering is it all right to use a 1" stud on a 0.820 profile track?

it will have extra penetration. a 1.00 stud is for a 1.00 lug track. youll have .180" extra length. that will be almost a half inch of stud above the track. check heat exchanger clearance and go for it! i run 3/4" above the lug on the fcat for trail racing. what sled do you have?

2006 indy 500 but the track they come with is very low profile i was just think about a new track but am going to try studding
