Does anyone have ideas on how to gain more travel or stiffen the suspension on a 96 model Cat, particulary a T-Cat. (besides buying a new one).
The poor belly pan takes a beating.
Thx.

I'm assuming you are referring to the front suspension?
If so, then there are two options, you can adjust the limiter strap / front arm shock on the rear suspension to give you less weight on the front ski's or you can stiffen up the springs on teh front skis by turning the springs on the shock sleeves, but make sure you turn them equally....

I have a 96 t-cat mountaincat-- updated to the BLT-fast front suspension up front and an M10 out back last year--- major difference.  Also the wider stance of the blt front helps the stability a whole lot.  -Dan
