Headed up to Copper Harbor today.  So here is my report.  WOW!  I was able to travel at 60mph a large part of the tripp.  We headed out about 11
0am and went through Hancock (where the snow is scarce)  Took 13 to 3 and from Hancock to about Mohawk was excelent. White, smooth, fast, powder!    Stopped at Cliff Drive to do some off trailing up the cliffs.  I would say there was a good 2 foot of powder!  Then up to Copper Harbor for lunch.  North of Mohawk could have used a little more grooming but the snow was there.  From Copper harbor we went up to Brockway Mountain, then followed 3 south and it was really rough (not groomed) untill about Mohawk, then all the way to Dollar Bay was sweet!  140 miles on the day and I used a kidney belt and loved it.  My sled dosn't take bumps so usually my back does and this really helped.  Oh, and I saw very few sleds during the trip.  And to top it all off, the entire trip home it was snowing! Yep,  real snow!  Too bad i have classes tomorrow.
