Tsl Skid Into 96 1/2 Zr 580 Efi Ett

Hello all... Now that we are FINALLY expecting a decent snow fall I am wondering if it is possible to install a 1998 ZR 500 CC rear skid into my current rebuild project? It is a 1996 1/2 (green hood and seat, upside down front remote resivor shocks with the rear adjuster on handelbars).

Also any tuning tips would be great as this is my first 580 efi. Can anyone tell me where the squish needs to be on these efi's?

With upper half case porting and base gasket matching/flowing and I currently have the squish at .082 but I have read that it should be .065 to .072?

If I update to the roller secondary where should I start for spring/helix combo?
