I wonder why Vincents sled has them? Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but I wonder if Yamaha is gonna surprise us with these goodies come production time and make them standard equipment. Anybody heard anything?

Knowing yam We'll probably be on our own. I'll definetly add different shocks to complement the AD Bovian Expert X rear suspension. I love the Walker Evens Shocks.

Chance are you probably won't get piggyback shocks on yours.. Vincents sled probably is beefed up much more than the consumers RX-1 will be. Nice pics!
FYI ohlins shocks are a product of yamaha..And im sure they wont be put on a stock sled but you will be abel to get them for the rx1 ..We get them up here in alaska for $299.00..Got to have them on my sled..RX1 all the way to the top
Are you kidding? the REV and RX-1 look nothing alike. The RX-1 looks like a snowmobile while the REV looks like a cross between the old twin track raiders and a sea-doo.
mighty,
i really do think the two of them look alike. i'm a doo'er as you know and think eyeball of the rx carbon fibre can't be touched. but the picture in the rev gallery of the black 800 shows the same lines as rx-1. i do think the two sleds look alike with the same colour schemes, leave yellow out of it. there is something you and i will have to agree to disagree on.
The RX-1 looks like an awsome sled..The REV looks nothing like the RX-1..And skidoo cant hold up to the good looks of yamaha..Skidoo guy's will be thinking they are riding a watercraft with ski's Thats what the rev looks like to me..
