would you consider a sled that needs minor work that with parts would be around $1000?[/b]
depends on the sled...

I bought a 91 jag that needed runners/carbide cause they were wore out...
just bought a scorpion that had a broken gas tank and brake handle...

so it depends...
simple fixes or a days work I may be interested...
blown motor sleds not so much... also if a sled costs for example $500 and needs $500 worth of parts but then will only be worth $1000.
I'd be better off buying a fixed one for face value... than spending time to break even, were I wanting to sell it...
or God forbid I spend more than it's worth...

Tell me what you got I'll hear you out...
I may be interested...
but no promises...
I may fancy a particular sled to want to fix it...

No sled is without work... I understand that
chances are even if it seems to be in good running order I may spend a few bucks on it to prevent future problems .

I have a 1979 Arctic Cat Lynx 2000T in very good shape, including original cover, which I might consider selling. Finally found a source for an owner's manual, which I've ordered.

Bought it this fall, needed a few minor repairs which were done, problem is I can't start it -- I can't pull fast / hard enough. OTHER people start it with no problem though. (Damn, damn, damn [etc.]). No trailer. When it does start, rides great.

I feel pretty stupid ...

Live close to Ludington, Michigan.

Make me an offer.

Then I could start shopping for a sled with an electric starter.
