Hello;

How difficult would it be to replace an impeller on a 2003 ProX 800. I'm going to check the watepump belt so I will be removing the outside housing cover. From there, must I remove the whole inside housing cover or can I remove the impeller cover (from the back) with the inside housing cover still attached. Thanks for the help...

You can do the waterpump impeller with the housing in place for regular 800 edges....your ProX, however, will need the engine removed to do the belt. So while it's out plan on doing the belt, pump impeller, and a new recoil rope. You don't want to have to pull the engine again soon.
Check out the front PTO mount while yer in there...:)
