Well Snow Ryder made it safe and sound to ND from NY and he picked up his new toy.Yes I do have butterflys in the pit of my belly and also a tear being held back.Snow Ryder is a nice guy from what little I got to talk to him,I hope he take good care of my friend.
Cograts Snow Ryder hope you have fun with her,I know what little time I had with her was a blast.
No my 14 year old hunting companion(pure bread springer spanial) Boston had to be put to sleep 3 weeks ago because of systems shutting down in his body.It was a very sad day in the family as he loved the kids and protected them and followed them all the time to be sure they were ok.I don't think I could ever replace him.
snorat,
the dog subject was a bad thing to bring up by me, i am sorry. i never thought i would cry over a dog but i had a drunken neighbour that shot my dog 11 years ago for crossing his yard, this guy had a female tied on a chain so my dog would visit her. he'd be one dumb dog if he didn't visit her, anyways this clown shot right out of his basement window. the dog was a shepherd yellow lab cross what a protector with compassion. but still my dog shouldn't have went there.
Sorry to hear paul, but I think that neighbour needed to be shot as well. What is with some people in the world? Its starting to get sickening. You watch the news and it is all negative. the odd time you hear something positive
I thought you ment the snow was gone!! Well your right it is! I went up today to survey the snow situation and it sucks. You have to go up to 7,000 ft and its all hard pack. This is the worst winter I have ever seen around these parts. I will go ride tomorrow, but I'll Leave the mountain max in the garage and take the ol' 80 arctic cat Pantera, trash on that thing for a while.
I am thinking about hanging my shot gun over the front door when they start Dating. (What time did you say you would have my daughter home again?)
snorat,
i said the same, my daughter will soon be 18 and has always been fantastic but there is a time when
you go half nuts with a daughter about when they are 13. i tried the heavy hand thing and it was not good so i had to sit back and watch her knees get scraped along with a few of life's bruises. all in all she is great as she does super in school and has 3 jobs teaching swimming and life guarding, i just wish she wouldn't burn the candle at both ends. now you need a son to be your one man wrecking crew, that's my son. boys are a different kind of bad then girls. i ride with him all the time just to stay close with him and teach him what little i know about the basics of just getting through.
Watch how strict you are with your daughters. It could backfire on you.My dad never let me go out,in turn I rebelled at 15 I left home and have been on my own ever since.I must say I had a lot of fun and learned alot about life, but it wasnt easy going to school and paying the rent(especially with all the partying)Dont be too strict fellas, there are some things a lady just has to find out on her own
