Hmmm, cant really tell what happened. Was the trottle stuck open??
It seemed like the driver was standing before the sled even stopped moving, too bad the video dosen't run another few seconds.

I would say stuck throttle. scary deal if your on it. :eek:hmy:

My guess is a broken chain. No chain, no brakes.

An asphault sled will roll forever and you can see at the end of the traps the front end squats when he lets off the gas but she doesn't slow.

I thought that you had to have brakes on the axle to run.

Nope. Only on full mod laydown sleds. Even in regular grass and ice ProStock and ImpStock sleds have to have the brakes in the stock location, and that is on the jackshaft not the driveshaft.
