I am pretty sure I will pull the trigger on a new DOO in the next couple weeks once I see the pricing. Not sure 100% but leaning towards the Gade X or the MXZ X.

anyone else thinking they are going to do the same.. If so what model you thinking about.

I really like the new sleds and was in the market for a new one this year but I don't know if I can buy a first year run of a sled that has so many changes. My  side says just do it of corse :D
I will have one but right now my rev is dialed in and I have it set up to my likeing. Plus I think in two years they should have all the bugs worked out of them and who knows by then they might even be better yet.
I plan to save up for a new (used) doo for next winter. It would be my first, all I'm using now is my dad's old arcticat cheetah. I'm only 17 and working part time so I'm just going to save up and look for a used MXZ 600 REV. I must have a REV, and an 800 H.O. would be nice, but cost way too much so 600 REV is the plan. H.O. if I happen to find one not too pricey.

New here BTW, hello all.

Mark
I'm plannin on scorin a great deal on a Rev when someone with deeper pockets than me, bucks up and gets a new one LOL

I agree....well, not for me, but for those looking to buy a NEWER sled. I've been seeing ALOT of newer REV's up for sale lately, and I think come summer/fall there will be alot of people "offloading" there current REV to take delivery on their new XP. Should be a great time to buy a newer REV for anyone looking for one.

Oh yeah...maybe in a couple years I may buy a new sled...we'll see though. I've got some big purchases coming up in my life (a house) that will hold off on buying any new toys for a while. :lookaround:
I personally think they're extremely ugly! Just like the new Yammi's, Cat's, and Poos..........could it be that I'm getting "Old Fashioned" at 29? :eek:hmy:
I will be seriously looking at a renegade 800 depending on price. I am going to wait to look at the new Pols though. I like the Renegades 16x136" track instead of the 15x 144" on the Switchback but I like the rider select on the Pol. Hp 151 for the 800 145 for the 700 Pol not much differance. I still think the Pol has a better motor and clutch than the Doo. MPG goes to Doo. Weight goes to Doo by 40 or so lbs but when your stuck they are all heavy. Don't know about the Doo handling I know the Pol is great. It will be a price thing.
First year run will hold me back, I always take a wait and see attitude and it's paid off in the past.

Thats what I did...Dude wanted 08 needed to get rid of 05 MACH Z 1000 (wife said) so CHACHING 5200.00 later guess who is riding the 1000 w/ new ripsaw track, shock covers knee pads bout a bazilion woodys studs elec start rev....... :whistling: What an awsome sled

ditto
i'm assuming the new doos will still have the same motor as last year so unless you're worried about the plastic falling off then i would get one........... :D
I'm starting to look for a low mileage 09 renegade 600 sdi. It may take some time to find one

if you do find that 09, I bet it will have very very low km on it.

Well, if they've shaved 50 lbs off of it, that's either ALOT of new parts built with a lighter material, or ALOT of parts removed.
IF I was a Doo Man, I would doo as others suggested, and wait till the 2nd year of production. I will be doing the same with the new Dodge Challenger 426c.i. Hemi. I'll buy an 09.

Just waiting for the pricing on an '08 Gade X 800. Probably go for one.
Nooooo, too expensive and not enough time to ride........ I'll just have to keep using the 1980 lol ): ): ):
I don't like buying the 1st year. I am Going to buy one next year not sure if it will be an 09. If they have alot of problems solved then I might buy a used 08. It is getting harder to save up to buy a new sled.
