Hey all! (I'm back again hehe)

With pain in my heart, I will say goodbye to my dearest friend, the Mach Z. I really need the cash so I can buy my house :(

I'd take a loan to be able to keep it, if it weren't for the little detail that that's currently not an option. I'm not a Swedish citizen yet, and even if I would be, I've been unemployed for over a year now so who would want to give me a loan..

I found a buyer now that wants to give me almost 4000 USD for my '93 Mach Z (with every part except for the chassis from '00 or '02 tho) so I'd better take this chance before he changes his mind. I won't lose any money on it because that's exactly what I paid for it.

But still, I've been out with it on the street here today, for the first time this season... And man I'm gonna miss it. I don't think I'll have any nails left by the end of the winter..

As said, saying goodbye with pain in the heart.

But I'm glad to announce that my girlfriend promised me that some day, she'll buy me a new one :)

Dear Mach Z, I'm sorry to do this to you, but I'm sure your soon to be new owner will treat you just as well as I did. Sorry that you will have to travel 600 km on a trailer. Sorry also about the spark plugs, it won't happen again. I'll give you a last wax treatment tomorrow to make up for it.

I might just send it to Hallmark.. With a pic of my sled on the card, and the little poem :) Maybe I'll get royalties!

As for work, I'm working on it... I'm freelancing right now but money's coming in too slow.. Anyone need any programming work done? I'm your man :)

And as for Lynx, I think I'll have to stick with a doo... Or I won't be able to show my face around my friends (who ride Lynx or AC). We got this brand war thing going on.. For the same reason, I'll never be able to buy an (Sony-)Ericsson phone.. I had my eye on a t68, but they'll laugh at me for the rest of my life because I switched to their brand, and have gone against everything I've always standed for ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a lynx a Doo for europe. The Lynx has a weird front suspension compared to our Doo's. better i heard for jumping.

I was laid of from Nokia three months ago. Living in Boston, Massachusetts cost big $$$. If worse comes to worse for me...I will sell my new car before my sleds. Friends think I have my priorities messed up...but I couldn't get a dime for my wife......hahahaha. In all seriousness, car goes before the sleds. Still have the wife's truck to tow. :)

I know that if worst comes to worst I will always have my safari cheyenne, not cause I wouldn't like to sell it but because it is so messed up that I would have to pay for somebody to take it. That thing was just not meant to fly ;) :p

Nico, sorry to hear you had to sell it. Why not move to Canada? You don't need a job to come here  You'd fit in w/ all the freeloaders you have to step over when you walk down Yonge Street in Toronto. (just kidding)

As Paul said, once you get things worked out you'll be teliing us you've got a new sled. Keep us filled in as to the goings on in Sweden

Sledd dogg: Afaik it's just that they both have rotax? Just what I've heard tho, I'm really no specialist..

Paul: Yes it definitely is good money. It's almost half of what I have to pay for the house.. Luckily for me houses don't cost #### here :)

Do the doo: I live about 50 km from the nearest traffic light, so I pretty much need a car. Also, I bought my car (or 2 cars actually) for about $100, so I don't think I'd get that far with the cash I get for it :)

Revrnd: Actually my original goal in life was to move to Canada (got that after I was there for 3 weeks, 9 years ago) but then when I saw Sweden and got offered a job here, I decided that Sweden was easier. And now I'm stuck here hehe..

XC Special: I don't see any marriage coming up anytime soon, if it wouldn't be for that it's kinda early to do so, we don't have the cash for it either.. But she's a keeper, for sure :) She feels with me for this terrible loss.. And yesterday was not the first time she promised me that she'd get me a new one some day... Wonderful :)

zr500: I'll drop by every now and then... Of course!

And to all, thanks for the mental support.. It really is a shame that I have to get rid of it. Especially now that there's full possibility to ride.. We got about 30 cm of snow here, and we get more every day.. Oh well.. I'm still young, got my whole life in front of me ;) There'll be plenty of winters where I'll be able to ride every single day!

Nico my condolences on your sled. That girlfriend is definately a keeper! Please dont take off and not come back till you get another ride. I like hearing about what goes on on the other side of the world. Things will change and you will get another ride. :) :)

Unfortunately the guy lives about 600 km away, so it's really goodbye to my baby... But I my 2 neighbours both have a Mach 1. Sure it's not the same, but it's a Doo anyway :D
I'll be terrorizing them a lot this winter I guess hehe..

The dealer I go to has a Lynx on display, Instead of Bombardier Ski-doo it's Bombardier Lynx. It has a Rotax 800, It in a ZX chassis but has a different hood than or ZX's. The hood is quite a bit different looking, but looks sweet. The front suspension is also very different. The front shocks are mounted straight up and down instead of angled.

Thank god we don't have the Euro here... I just moved here 2 years ago, and am just now getting used to the SEK currency.. I stopped calculating back all prices into the Dutch Guilders.. So I really hope we'll keep things as they are for now, or I'll go mental!

The bikini team is as always alive and kicking, of course ;)
