The girlfriend lost her one & only key to her sled over the weekend.  The sled is up north and we are heading up tonight to ride.  The local yam dealers don't stock a new iginition assy.

Until I get her a new key, can I 'hot wire' the sled for now?  It seems I can just connect the wires together and start the sled?

It is a 95 Vmax 600

Is this correct?

Yes - I suggested she have a spare key made months ago..

Sort of, all you really should have to do is disconect the plug to the ignition switch.  you should not even have to connect any wires. (done this to friends 97 Vmax 600) If by chance this doesn't work then try to connect the wires.
