I'm just wondering if anyone knows why yamaha does not want to build a 440 racer. With all the technology they have at there disposal I bet they could build a real winner. Do you think they might have a 600 4 stroke that they will be allowed to race in the 440 class. If they came out with something like that I may have to jump ship to Yammy. If anyone has any info on such a sled I would love to here about it. There must be someone here with some inside knowledge from yamaha. ;)

They would NEVER be able to build a lightweight 600cc 4 stroke,IT WILL NOT HAPPEN

Now I agree they can build a great 440 @stroke but they don't want to

Redline has a 600 four stroke that is light weight for 2004 on their website if they ever are able to bring them to market

i dont think it has enough horsepower to compete with the two strokes though

Redline's 4 stroke is a single and is suppose to be about 55hp and is a Rental type sled according to them

And besides Redline won't be building sleds for a long time :D
