Looking for some insight on the eastern side of the yooper from brimely to grand maris before mon am .
reports say there grooming but thin it spots , getting into towns are rough. some say things are toast some say it 's good yet.

So far this year it has'nt been a gas or oil consumsion issue but more of a hyfax/wearbar issues from low /snirtty snow conds :bash:

any first hand reports out there....sledheaddude where are you? , you need a lap top on that sled to let us know things down here :whistling:

Thanks to anyone with info

My dad is probably in West Branch right now on the way back from Paradise and he said the trails were in great shape. You will have the normal back braking moguls on the south trail leaving paradise to the west but after that they will rock... just bypass newberry.

Thats what we where thinking , go out on the 2 tracks maybe we will find that missing dozer :undercover: . Bisket reported 3 ft just north of hulbert out in the sticks. I just wish it was'nt so swampy in the paridise area to make boondocking a little easier(alot of areas inpassable).

HAY we just might stop and have a coke at the cabin for your dad  j/k IM sure there be some decent riding right around there too. I think were going to try boondock across the shoreline from whitefish to rainbow(cant get lost there) you ether hit the trail or water lol. also thinking of the brimely / irqouis mt area too and maybe out south of raco in the old proving grounds. Alot of untouch areas out there to venture in, just have to get off the e-ways

We got hit yesterday pretty good. Even Manistique got 8' by mid-day with more coming down. Frome Shingleton to Manistique, Gulliver should all be excellent.

Dave and the guys couldn't believe it last night! Sleadheaddude800

Man seams like our timing has been off all year just miss the storms every time .
hope this week will be good for us.
we just might try to make a stop by digger, mid wk traffic down good snow we just might be able to run it in a day from paridise. Really would like to ride your area more with some good snow sometime .

Don't know how much we have that is fresh, but it hasn't stopped since it started! Best conditions of the year right now. 41 is 100 MPH trail right to our front door.

Haven't heard how widespread this snow was, but am going to Manistique to get the latest this morning. Had a local come through about 4:00 PM yesterday coming from the north and heading south because his buddy called and said they were getting dumped on big time. He also said the trails up there were torn up big time. He said 41 was in top shape and a ball to run on. They groomed it twice yesterday and they were very happy with it. 413 was smooth, but needed snow; well, it has it now! Trail 2 to Curtis and Guliver was great before this snow and now has to be a ball to run on. 41 south of here ran out of snow this weekend, but is ready now. Just keeps getting better and better.
