Does the belly pan for the zr fit over top of the black one that is on the sled now or replace it. I noticed phazerhater has got a nice orange one on there.

If you're referring to the belly pan protector, it fits over top of the existing belly pan.

well u can buy a skid plate for them that fits over the belly pan. i put a green belly pan on my zr last year and if u have purchased a belly pan u will need to switch the 2. all that needs to be done is take the screws out of the old and your new pan will fit right on. then re use the screws. i think they have hex heads on them. my did anyways. good luck.
here is a pic of my zr with the colored green belly pan.

Does anyone know if its the same for the triples? I'm looking at getting an orange bellypan for my ZRT but I think my bellypan is on with rivets but I could be mistaken. If it is do I have to drill out all the rivets and put new ones in?

I know that for 95-98 triples the belly pan protector fits on overtop of the rivets that are already on the sled.
A couple of tips:
-A/C factory belly pan protectors (made by holeshot) are far superior to others out there. They fit better, they are thicker and they follow the belly up around the front suspension better than others. They cost more than others too, but they're worth it (I have tested them).
- USE STEEL RIVETS, not aluminun rivets (see my comment about testing above). Rent one of the pop riveters that work like bolt cutters to make your install job easy.
- Use lots of rivets along the bulkhead (at the back of the belly pan protector). If you take a hit, this is where you need the protector help really tight so that the sled can bounce over the rock or stump and not bend your bulkhead. I would use more rivets than the number that come in the kit.
- When drilling rivet holes through the protector and the pan from the bottom, the sled will be on its side, so open the hood and have a buddy with a flashlite watch you drill bit come through and make sure you haven't put a hole in a hose, cut a wire or screwed something else up.

HEY STOP THESE ARE THE OEM PANS AND SIDE PANELS THAT YOU WOULD ORIGINALLY HAVE ON YOUR SLED NOT PROTECTORS THEY ARE THE WHOLE FRONT END LIKE IN A STOCK SLED NOT SPORT TECH OR HOLESHOT THE ORIGINALS THAT ARE ATTACHED AT THE FACTORY :hallo1:
